In March of 2019, we took an 11 day Mekong River cruise with Scenic Luxury Cruises.  After leaving Viet Nam we crossed the border into Cambodia.  We visited a small village on the river where we were driven through town in an ox cart (shown above) to a temple where we received a blessing from a monk (see video). Our most memorable experience was visiting a private school where the children were learning English.  They were all precious and were eager to talk to us to try out what their English (see video below).  We spent two days in Phnom Penh where we toured the grounds of the Royal Palace and also took a Khmer cooking class.  We ended the cruise in Siem Reap but stayed another 3 days to tour the temples. (See the Siem Reap / Angkor Wat page)
