London / United Kingdom

We flew over to London in 1992 and 1993 as part of my duties as Captive insurance manager at AGCO to meet with Lloyds of London to negotiate our renewal.  Delta had very cheap fares back then but required a minimum stay.  In 1992, we had to stay a week and we stayed for 10 days in 1993.  We stayed in London the first year getting a chance to walk around and visit museums, Westminster Abbey, Tower of London and all the touristy things to see.  We also rode the train out to the historic town of bath to see the cathedral and the Roman Baths.  The second year there we rented a car and ventured out on a driving trip through Southern England, highlighted by seeing a World War II bunker at the Cliffs of Dover.
