Venice was the last stop on our July 2014 Adriatic cruise on Silverseas.  We had a full day to walk around and see the sights. The canal system was amazing, with very picturesque bridges and canal boats.  Shown above is a view of the Grand Canal taken from the Rialto Bridge.  It was very crowded and hot when we were doing the tours.
