Craig & Trina's Travel Log
Alberta
In June of 2000, we took a driving trip up through Southern Alberta going through the towns of Banff, Kamloops, and up through the Jasper National Park. Our trip started with a Delta flight to Kalispell, Montana and a breathtaking (sometime scary) ride through Glacier National Park. One of the highlights of the trip was to walk out on a glacier in the Columbia Icefields in 32 degree weather on our 25th anniversary, June 21st. (shown above). Back off the glacier in town, it was 60 degrees. We spent a day driving through Jasper National Park, stopping at several overlooks for pictures and ending up at Lake Louise. There were some pictures we took of places neither Trina and could remember. We have wanted to go back and this time take the Rocky Mountaineer train from Jasper to Vancouver.
