Jackson Hole, Wyoming

In January of 2010, we took the Giddens family, Whitney, Johnny, and Callie to Jackson Hole for a Thursday to Sunday long weekend.  It was freezing cold with at least a foot of snow the whole time we were there.  On Friday, Trina stayed back at the condo with Sarah Kate (who had just turned 4) while the other adults went on an all day snowmobile trip up into Glacier National Park.  This was one of the neatest things I've ever done.  We stopped for lunch at a hot springs pool, put on our bathing suits and went in for a warm up.  The water was between 95 to 100 degrees.  On Saturday morning, we took a tour of the National Elk Reserve in a horse drawn sleigh.  In the afternoon we took a tram ride up to the top of Gannett Peak (shown above), which at the time, I thought was the coldest place on Earth.  There was some time left in the afternoon for Sarah Kate to go snow tubing at a kids park.  We had some great meals, great fun, and everyone had a fantastic time.
