In August of 2015, we took a quick, 4 day trip down to Providenciales in the Turks & Caicos islands.  The beach (shown above) was fantastic and we had a nice relaxing trip.   We stayed at the Sands at Grace Bay, which was phenomenal as well as reasonably priced.  The highlight of our trip was a half day conch harvesting excursion where  we got to see how it's done and even get to participate.  Delta has one flight a day, which is just under 3 hours. The prices are a little less expensive during hurricanes season as some travelers are scared away.  We went in August and had great weather.  We would definitely go back again.
