Sardinia was the  3rd stop on our Spring, 2016 cruise with Silverseas.  Sardinia is the large island in the Mediterranean just south of Corsica. We stopped in the small port city of Alghero where we took a day trip to a local winery.    On the way we drove through the Porto Conde National Park with some magnificent views of the ocean and inland mountains.  The winery was amazing and before the tour offered up a nice wine and cheese spread.  It was an amazing vintage, not sold in stores.  We bought two bottles to take back to the ship.
