Boston was our last stop on our Fall 2018 Canada/New England cruise we took on Silverseas.  We did the Freedom Trail excursion which encompasses a 2 1/2 mile, 5 hour stroll through all the historical parts of Boston.  We got to see the old North Church, the old State House,  a cemetery filled with dead famous people, and the site of the Boston Massacre.  Our guide was an elderly, quite salty, hilarious Bostonian who made the tour very enjoyable.

Shown above is my lovely wife standing in front of the "oldest tavern in the U.S." (according to the guide).  He is the gentleman in the blue blazer and khakis who looks like he has spun some "yahns" in his day.
