In September of 2018, we flew with Kendra and  Sarah Kate out to Portland for my nephew Alex's wedding.  We left on a Wednesday, and the wedding was the next day at 3:30 in the afternoon.  Both my sisters were there (one being the mother of the groom) and we had a great time visiting and reminiscing .  We all stayed together in a large AirB&B house in one of the trendy sections of Portland.  On Friday, we drove out to the coast to see Cannon Beach.  On the way back we stopped by the  Tillamook Creamery to see how cheese is made. On Saturday, we went into town, walking through a local market, eating lunch at a fantastic Ramen bar, and ending up in Powells, the worlds largest independent bookstore.  We got up on Sunday morning and flew back home.
