Craig & Trina's Travel Log
Cannes, France
Cannes, a seaport on the French Riviera, was the 3rd stop on our 2016 Mediterranean cruise on Silverseas. It is the home of the annual Cannes Film Festival and is the place to go if you are looking to purchase a lavish, extravagant yacht. We did the obligatory, walk through the old part of town and ride in a van to a high point overlooking the city. Only the "very" wealthy can afford to live here. The prices for meals are ridiculous. There are some interesting shops on some of the back streets and it's fun to just look at all the tricked out boats in the harbor. Unless you are rich and famous, I wouldn't waste much time in Cannes.
Shown above, Trina is posing for the obligatory city shot taken from a high hill.
