In October of 2006, we took our first of six cruises with Silverseas on the Silver Wind (shown above).  This was a seven day, round trip cruise from Bridgetown, Barbados up to, and around the "Leeward Islands" : St. Lucia, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Dominica, St. Barts, and Antigua.  We had great weather and a great time making friends and having fun with several other couples.  Some high points were taking a  sailing trip around St. Lucia, playing golf on Antigua, and taking a rain forest tour in Dominica.  This was the trip that really got us hooked on small boat cruising and other than taking a Disney Cruise with the grandchildren, we have not strayed back to a big boat.
